Aviation Management

Pursuant to Decision 1419/QĐ-HVHK dated July 1st, 2025 of the Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy on promulgating the training program in Business Administration at the Regular university level at Vietnam Aviation Academy, the University training program in Aviation Management is described as follows:

1.6. Programme Goals

The Bachelor of Business Administration program, specialized Aviation management aims to equip graduates with strong political awareness, ethical standards, and good personal health, along with a solid foundation in socio-economic knowledge and the ability to analyze and solve problems in both aviation business administration and related fields. The program develops students’ economic and managerial thinking, enhances their professional competencies, and enables them to understand and apply legal and regulatory frameworks in the context of a market economy and the aviation industry. Graduates are expected to communicate fluently in English, demonstrate strong practical capabilities, and possess the necessary qualifications to pursue professional certifications relevant to the aviation sector through integrated training programs delivered in cooperation with Approved Training Organizations (ATOs).

1.8. Graduation Conditions

In accordance with the Undergraduate Training Regulations of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, issued under Decision No. 572/QĐ-HVHK-ĐT dated June 30, 2023, by the Director of the Academy.

Students shall be considered and recognized for graduation when they meet all of the following conditions:

  • Accumulate all required courses and credits as stipulated by the program;
  • Complete all other compulsory components of the program and achieve the program learning outcomes;
  • Obtain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least “Average” or higher for the entire course of study;
  • At the time of graduation consideration, must not be under criminal investigation or subject to any disciplinary action resulting in suspension from study;
  • Complete the courses on National Defense and Security Education, and Physical Education;
  • Foreign language requirement: Students graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specialized major in Aviation Management at the Vietnam Aviation Academy, must achieve English proficiency at Level 4/6 of the Vietnamese Six-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework or an equivalent qualification;
  • Possess information technology knowledge that meets job requirements.

  • Bachelor in Business Administration (Aviation Management)
  • Aviation Personel Certificate (in case students apply for integrated curriculum)

1.10. Potential Career after Graduation

Individuals who have successfully completed a program in Business Administration specializing in Aviation Managemant have the potential to assume various roles, such as administrators, entrepreneurs, or business owners, particularly within the aviation industry. Additionally, administrators may also choose to establish their own enterprises.

2.11. Enrollment

2.11.1. Enrollment Objects: High school graduate or equivalent.

2.11.2. Enrollment Criteria

  • Direct admission according to the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Announcement of the University
  • Enrollment according to the results of the National High School Exam
  • Other forms of enrollment as prescribed by the Vietnam Aviation Academy at the time of enrollment.

II. PROGRAMME

Total number of credits required in the training program (excluding Physical Education, National Defense and Security Education, and supplementary skill courses): 120 credits.

        - General education knowledge    : 19 credits    proportion: 15,83 %

        - Professional knowledge              : 101 credits proportion: 84,17 %

                   + Foundation knowledge  : 17 credits   proportion: 14,17 %

                   + Industry knowledge      : 38 credits   proportion: 31,67 %

+ Supplementary knowledge: 3 credits   proportion: 2,5 %

+ Specialized knowledge  : 33 credits   proportion: 27,5 %

                   + Internship: 4 credits   proportion: 3.33 %

                   + Graduation thesis/Capstone project: 6 credits   proportion: 5 %
